Call it self-fulfilling prophecy or the power of suggestion. Whatever you call it, we, as spiritual beings, have been created with significant authority over our lives. We have been given the opportunity to decide whether we will grumpily survive life or live a life of passion and joy. Personally, I choose the latter.
It wasn’t long ago that I realized I had the power to let go of my grumpy, I must survive life outlook and have the power to take on a joy-filled spirit that embraces life and looks forward to the future with excitement.
Sound idealistic? Perhaps. But, realistic? Definitely!
In my daily life I anticipate great things. I look forward to the day and how I may be used to make a difference, even be it small, in someones life how I may lighten a friends burden or encourage someone to pay it forward. My days, as are yours, are filled with opportunities to bless others.
And amazingly, as I do this for others I find that my life gets better and better too. Im discovering that positive people are attracted to me, my relationships are growing, my home life it more peaceful, my work more enjoyable, my finances more abundant the list goes on.
I know the power and authority God has given me as his child to bless instead of curse. I understand my position to claim His promises and walk in them.
Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, we have the amazing opportunity to shape our futures. But, how we shape them is completely our choice. And whether we realize it or not, we make these choices every day. Moment by moment we choose our response to what happens around, and to, us. We can opt for grumpiness or we can choose happiness and joy.
However, learning to make better choices is a journey and it takes practice. And as you know, journeys are always traveled better with a friend or two or 1200. Ive included several categories to the left. I encourage you to click on the links, read the entries and share your stories.
Lets encourage one another to Choose a Better Life!
